Living with depression.

The problem with depression is it can easily be hidden yet easily unmasked. 

I am currently going through this and have been dealing with it on and off for years because of my childhood, it seems to get better then bam hits me in the face when I least expect it. 

I suppose that's what black shadows do they creep over you.

A lot of people don't talk about mental health enough and it gets wiped under the carpet. For me I let it bottle up and then one day when a little thing pops up, the whole world lands in my lap and a war starts to begin ! 😑

I also have autism and I struggle everyday, but I'm trying to be positive as much as I can and see past the negativity.

Today was not a good day and we all have them I know this, but when you literally have a melt down and you wobble and your world seems to fall apart it's the scariest thing in the world. Especially when No one else can see or think the things in your head, and so wonder what the hell your doing or why your acting that way. That's frustrating. 

So yes today isn't a makeup or beauty blog, but this is also lifestyle, and depression can turn your life upside down and your lifestyle and leave you only remaining existing, not really living.

So I ask myself as I'm sitting here and up late again if this is the cause of my insomnia, feeling poorly and the throbbing headache that's eating my brain 😩 so I read into this, which I haven't really before that when you have depression physical symptoms happen too! And that includes those things. So if you know anyone who is acting oddly or doing these things please do talk to them and make sure they too aren't suffering. 

Sometimes all we need is a stepping stone, but the stepping stone always seems to drop as soon as we step on it and when that happens all we need is a helping hand to balance ourselves.

My brush collection so far!!

After realising that brushes were so important I decided to pick out all of the brushes I owned to clean them all and have a clear out of what I needed and what I didn't ! 

Yes you will say you need them all !

But I had literally 100's ! 😂😩

A Bad Skin Day 🙅🏻

Today my skin had a breakout !! 

I woke up with a spot on the corner of my lip, then another just above!! 

So I got myself all worked up and it didn't help that Mother Nature is visiting this week 😩

But I decided I was not going to be discouraged, grabbed myself a bath and did my usual skin care regime and put the cherry 🍒 on the muffin did a makeup tutorial !! 

So all was not lost! 

And although when I took my makeup off at the end of the day I knew my skin was still not great, I went with it, took a selfie and pointed out all the bits that was great about my face !! 

So remember beautydivas all of us have bad days , embrace them and it's easier to love yourself !! 

My Journey Through Makeup

As I sit here at the age of 25, I look back and wonder what the hell went wrong with my makeup through the years?!

Aged 14 I first tried makeup and damn was that the most amazing thing ever!!
Even though now I look back and think 'Fuck' what was i thinking?!
Still i carried on got my first ever makeup kit, i don't know if you can remember the little makeup boxes with a blusher brush, eye-shadow brush, sponge, a few creamy colours, powder, foundation, blush and nail polish?
I thought it was great and so i set to work. Trying out these different looks that i obviously thought was the coolest thing ever, and i looked amazing!

When i got to 16/17 i was wearing foundation ( a lot of it ) an orange line and hadn't quite got the hang of it, not like girls today at the ages of 14!!
And as for the dreaded eyebrows, well lets not go there!
So my nan ( who was also like a mum to me ) , decided drastic action was needed and got me my first 'professional, expensive' make-up.
I will never forget, the waterproof maybelline mascara ( blue bottle ) and i still use it to this day! And Rimmel's Transparent Pressed Powder ( also blue bottom )
Nivea Lip Balm and Bonjoure Rose Blush Powder. 
These Also came with a love of brushes, i was given the bamboo ( all natural ) 
Powder Brush and Bamboo Blush Brush.

These became my tools and from these i grew.

Then 4 years ago i really started to get into makeup.
I go through my stages of make-up to nope i want to be natural,
but i will always love makeup, beauty and skincare!

I am now a self-taught/professional MUA and starting up my own business venture and cosmetic brand! And gosh am i excited !! EEEEKKK! 

I am also a representative for Younique and am promoting the amazing 3D FiberLash Mascara!
I have worn so many different mascaras however today i use 3D Fiberlash instead of using falsies!!
